Madison Young, Rope & Dave Navarro
Last night was rather interesting. I did a live rope performance for/with my good friend Madison Young at her gallery Femina Potens. Dave Navarro, for his IFC TV show, came to the the gallery & made it a sound stage for the night as 3 blood related performances were put on for him and filmed for the show. I won’t go into detail because that would spoil the show once it airs next June but let just say that it involved a very sexy readhead, water, earth, rope, suspension, knives and blood, a lot of blood.
So… as soon as I get details of when the show will air, I will pass them along!
First Official Shoot!
Here I sit at my desk after doing my first official shoot as Director/Webmaster of Hogtied.com. Wonderful start! My PA & videographer are to kill for, Monica & Simone and my model, the ever beautiful Christina Carter was a pure pleasure to work with..

First day at the best job a rigger can wish for….
Let me just say WOW… great people & great work. I will have to fill you all in later but I am already loving this work. Today is all getting used to my programs, computer & learning the back end aspects of running Hogtied.com. The easy part is the rigging. Wed. I work with Christina Carter… :-)
Yesterday I was at Folsom on the Kink.com stage & it was one of the best ways to see all the antic of the faire. What a way to to be introduced to San Francisco! The crowds were 30 people thick watching me rig Calico & Lorelei Lee. I also did a wonderful scene on the sidewalk with Kari which ended up being my favorite.

Lochai and J have made it to San Francisco! I got a text late last night that said, “We’re home!”
I imagine they are without internet service for a while, but I expect Lochai will manage to find a computer at some point and post something more substantial. Until then – know that the whole happy family arrived safely!

OK…. We have been following the time shifts every day & know where we need to change our clocks and when to wake up & when we get an extra hour for our drive…
Well, we made it to Flagstaff last night after 13 hours on the road. We set our alarm for 8:00 am so we can eat breakfast by 9 and hit the road early to make it “Home” by tonight. So, for some reason my iphone said it was 9:40 last night when our hotel clock said it was 10:40. OK, my phone was screwy.
Come morning, J’s alarm goes off at 8, I get up and go for breakfast. After I finish eating I asked one of the other guests what time they had because my iphone said 7:17… he said “It’s 7:17″ I was laughing all the way back to the room. As I get there J was just getting dressed & I informed her that we are up an hour earlier than planned….. Well, it seems, J found out from the desk clerk, that Arizona chooses not to follow daylight savings time. So, the reason for the clock is that the last guest in our room came from a state that DOES conform & set the clock to their time zone but DID NOT CHANGE IT BACK!
So, needless to say, we are hitting the road an hour earlier than planned…..

Lochai called today and for a brief moment before he hit a dead spot and faded out he told me about driving through the windmill fields and how beautiful they are. I think they are either beautiful or creepy – it depends on my state of mind. They always remind me of Don Quixote no matter what, and that special spot in Spain where I buy a handbag every time I go there.
“Shooting for Flagstaff,” was the next communique – via text. I lived in Phoenix for a year. Flagstaff is nice, it’s in Northern Arizona and isn’t so deserty. If we’re lucky he’ll iphone another image for us!
Drive safely, but swiftly – the world is waiting for you to hit San Francisco!

As we got into Nashville last night & the gas gauge was near 1/4 tank I was wondering why all the stations had plastic bags over their pumps…..

Orlando to Alabama via New York (What?!)
Just an update to let you know that Lochai and J made it as far as Orlando last night, where they found a nice hotel that allowed their kitties to roam freely without having to sneak them in. Tonight’s goal is to make it to Alabama.

Well, We’re On Our Way
Lochai is talented, no doubt about it, but even Lochai can’t post while driving cross-country with three cats and a (gorgeous) woman in the car. So it’s me, Catalina, writing for Lochai for a few days until he makes it to San Francisco and can get back to Nawalochai.com. In the meantime, I thought I’d update you and tell you that it’s 3:45 here on the East Coast, so despite his previous claim of an early departure, they are just now headed out of town.
First stop, Atlanta! Well, that’s a very ambitious goal since they are getting a late start and it’s a 10-hour drive in best case traffic and weather. I betcha they stop somewhere else tonight and get an early start tomorrow morning. Like I told him, either way you might as well head out, there’s no sense spending the night in an empty house – find a nice hotel and enjoy having the luxuries in life, like a bed and towels.

Our Munch….
We have three local Munches, the Palm Beach Munch, my local Munch, the South Florida Munch run by Ally Waterfall, and the Miami Munch on South Beach, run by Arkady to help increase our CommUNITY on the beach. All populated by great CommUNITY members. Many of those who have dropped out of the local scene still attend the Munchs as a way to stay connected, those who have given up on the politics of any large group attend as well because these Munchs are NON political and discussions stay on topic of CommUNITY building and not gossip etc.
Well I started to attend the South Florida Munch again when Ally took it over a year back or so and have made a point to support her efforts for these very reasons. Well last night Ally & the members of our Munch paid me back for my participation. Lew Rubens was on hand as a special guest to South Florida for LAC’s 4th anniversary weekend which made it real special seeing that I am joining the KINK.com team to be along side him in SF. Thanks to Keiki binging him in. Well he saw first hand what a CommUNITY leader such as Ally can & does do for their members. She really suprised me with a special going away party.
In the past I have donated a few special images to the raffle/door prize table & last night was no different. This time I gave a large mounted print of “Curves” as well as 2 – 5×7 “M” prints from my WEAM show for the raffle. Top & Slave bonnie also gave a special gift of one general admission to Beyond Leather. All proceeds from this raffle went to chris, Miss Rae’s Pet for her run for South East Bootblack. Good Luck chris!!!! After the raffle was complete Ally read a beautiful set of sentiments sent my way and produced a wonderful card signed by everyone from the Munch as well as others. A few people stood & spoke about mushy things but the cake was the “icing” I guess you can say as we all shared in finishing it off.
There comes a time or two in everyone’s life where the people around them show their true colors. It comes in a time of need & in a time of farewell. Well in the past few months I have been in both situations and all I need to say is that some of the brilliant colors I have seen come my way have blinded me. I will not be able to name everyone but these few stand out… Catalina, a real godsend, Janice, my wife… don’t get me started there…., and Ally Waterfall for recharging my CommUNITY without really trying. I had numerous offers of “last get togethers” and even outright going away parties but the only thing J and I wanted to really attend (due to tight time restraints due to packing) was Ally’s Munch, and so many more that I can’t really remember…. Anais, Arkady, Alyssa Loren, Dieter, Don, Dottie & Big John, John Warren & Libby to name a very few….
You know who you are…..

Just packing up a few last bits of stuff making ready to fly from SF back to Florida for the last time. The moving company arrives Thurs. morning, packs up & we head out on the road with 3 cats in the back!

Ya know… Sometimes
you just can’t win. Take this week for example. Every shoot I have done for Hogtied this week & even one I did for my audition a month ago has been wrought with failure… Power failure that is. First it was the episode with Alexia Von Tesse when she was riding a set of dildo/Hitachi rigs and as she got off of one set & was planting herself on the other set she yelled out, “It’s surging!” all at once myself, my PA and my camera operator yelled to her to get off of it as we thought she was getting shocked, No, she was informing us that the vibrator was dying a slow & painful death. Next was when Matt and I were working over Sacha Lexing… Matt turns it on & it peters out in his hand & her crotch. Now after the first episode, our PA made sure to field test every vibrator on the set & I even doubled checked every one. They were all good to go as cameras started rolling but as soon as we needed them to step up & perform… blah…
So, today we triple checked the two machines I was looking to use on the ever beautiful Lexi Belle, Good on both accounts. we even joked that they needed to be field tested by my beautiful PA & she said the performed like a charm. Off we go, first set is about a minute into the session & what happens as I press it into the panty clad pussy of Lexi Belle? it dies….

OK, I lied, it was easy but it wasn’t painless… J and I headed out of SF on the BART this morning to go meet with Matt for lunch and a bit of house hunting. Lunch was great & house hunting went well up until the point of putting down a deposit.
The first place we looked at was just along the lines of what we wanted. Location, space, type of community etc. A LOT of beautiful woman at the pool, yea, we got the unit overlooking the pool. Now we sit down with Rose, the leasing agent & start up the paperwork, easiest lease she has ever done. Matt knows what I like… As I pull my credit card out to leave the deposits & pay for the application fees I am informed that no, we do not take credit cards, OK, I have enough cash on me for everything, again, no we do not take cash. I sort of forgot my check book at home…….
Matt & I jump in the car to go find the liquor store that sells money orders. Find it but the guy who takes the cash for money orders is out to lunch but will be back in 45 mins…. Jump back in the car & go looking for the next place. We find it but I realize that I am $20 short on the cash needed & Matt only has an American Express Travelers Cheque on him which the woman behind the counter is not sure she can take. Run around the corner to the supermarket & find the ATM as Matt says offhanded as I put my card into the machine “watch, it won’t give you your card back” as I give him a sly sideways glance the machine informs me that it can’t complete my transaction. Another card & same result. Meanwhile Matt is cashing in his TC just in case when I finally change machines & an able to get the cash needed. We go back to the store & get informed that yes, she can take the TC. :-/
We get back to the leasing agent & J has talked her down to a very minimal deposit with first month free. I give the money order over & then get informed that if I pay another (very small) fee now, it will save me a lot later. Again no cash accepted so back into the car to the first place where the lunch guy should be back. Nope, not yet so off to the second place for another check. Done!
We now have a new California address! We are still getting absentee ballots for Nov from Florida because this year our votes count WAY more in FL then in CA.
Today we are off to Fisherman’s Warf for a chocolate festival & I have 2 Hogtied shoots this week & one rigging gig for Isis as a pick up shoot.
We are here…
Arrived in SF at about 12:30 today & I made it to my first meeting @ 2. It was wonderful introducing J to everyone & getting smiles from those who wished me luck when I auditioned…. Great feeling.
We start out house hunting in the morning and hopefully find something early on so we can relax the rest of the week. I am doing 2 of my own hogtied shoots Mon & Wed & then I was asked to rig by Isis on Thurs. J is getting along great with everyone here so far…
NEED SLEEP……
